Call for plein air artists

ZUMBROTA – Crossings is organizing a November 2006 exhibit for plein air artists.

“Plein air” is a French term meaning “in the open” and describes paintings that have been done outdoors, directly from the subject.

Crossings invites you to enter your landscape art of any medium and any size in the show. Entries must reserve space with a form that includes your name, address, phone, email and a $15 entry fee. Art must be for sale, ready to hang and delivered to Crossings by October 31. This show is on a first come, first served basis, so get your entries in early.

If you don’t yet consider yourself a landscape artist, join the Plein Air Painting class at Crossings on Saturday, August 12 with instructor Greg Caron.

To enter the November show or register for the Plein Air Painting class, stop in to Crossings at 320 East Avenue in Zumbrota or call 507-732-7616. www.crossingsatcarnegie.com.
