Episode 249, Some Assembly Required

Episode 249 features work by Aggro1, Thomas Dimuzio, DJ Doc Rok, DJ Earworm, The Evolution Control Committee, Go Home Productions, The National Cynical Network, John Oswald, Splice of Life Faculty and Chris Strouth. Check it out HERE.

Episode 249 is a feature length Led Zeppelin theme. Minnesota artist Chris Strouth submitted a new track recycling a track from the 1960’s rock band, which led me to search my memory for other sound collages borrowing from the same group. The results are pretty strong, I have to say. Be sure to check out Thomas Dimuzio’s painstakingly reassembled version of Stairway to Heaven. A number of artists approached that song in particular. Another must hear would have to be The Splice of Life Faculty’s “Spliceway to heaven”. Definitely. Check out Episode 249 HERE.

Be sure to check out the SAR Blog for Q&A’s with over 150 of the artists we play weekly on Some Assembly Required, and download Episode 249 HERE.

Thanks for listening!
