The Public Art Affairs (PAA) annual grant program supports emerging, visual artists and interdisciplinary teams led by visual artists throughout Minnesota (non-residents are not eligible to apply). PAA grants provide artists opportunities for career advancement,
technical advice from FORECAST staff, increased recognition and the chance to try something new. Public Art Affairs is funded by the Jerome Foundation.

Starting this year, the PAA program requires that all applicants attend one of five PROJECT DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS.

Also open to non-applicants, each FREE, 2-hour workshop will cover basics about the program, current public art developments and trends, and information about previously funded projects. Travel stipends are available for artists attending from greater Minnesota. See http://www.forecastart.org/paa.htm for scheduled dates and times.
