Biography
Maria Campo was born in Turin, Italy where she lived, worked, and started her career. Her first opportunity in fashion was with NUXIAL International, an Italian manufacturer of wedding gowns. While working with NUXIAL, she traveled between Turin and Milan creating other contacts with manufacturers of ready-to-wear for women such as CHILD, SOFT, SPARACIO & Co., other firms as a free-lance designer, and assisted Ennio Castellani in Verona, Italy, on a collection for the company Zanobetti Diffusione. Maria Campo has also showed her fashion in various shows not only in her country, but also in Minneapolis as well; The 510 Restaurant, Nicollet Mall, Sewing Expo, and on the DIFFA stage for three years in the row. She has been featured in various articles throughout the years, and has worked with musicians and singers such as The Birthday Suit, Billy McLaughlin, Charmin Michelle, Laura Caviani, Karrin Allyson, Lorie Line, and Prince. Her experience includes work with movies such as Vanilla, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Shawn Ship Shape, True Love, and more recently The Telephone Game. Today Maria Campo expanded her work to include graphic design for apparel, gift and house ware.

Participated with her work in the event: “Urban Expedition: Italy”, organized by Ken Giannini, and where she gave a presentation on the history of the Italian fashion industry. 2006
Nancy Carason of JV & Company introduced her and her work during an event held at the JV & Company store in connection to the presentation of the Italian Trade Commission Event. 2005
Participated with her work in fashion events organized by DIFFA, Design Industry Foundation Fighting AIDS, in the years 2002, 2003, and 2004.
