Experience
Paulette began as a black and white film photographer. She loved shooting, processing and developing black and white film but also had a passion for color. As a result Paulette transformed her black and white images by hand-coloring using oils, acrylics, colored pencils and metalic pens.
More recently she began shooting in digital, and experimenting with the variety of papers and surfaces available using the digital medium. Ultimately, to Paulette, the photograph is only the beginning of her work, her work is about texture (implied and real), about color and about how the images interact with the surface they are bound bound to, a photo's impact varies based on the quality (texture, fiber, material, etc.) of the partnering of the surface.
