Margaret M. Gamache is a mixed medium sculpture/collage artist living and working in N.E. Minneapolis. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Fine Art Degree, concentrated in Photography, and a Minor in American History.         
She grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota, in a household that supported the arts. Her family would have monthly adventures to museums, where she came across her biggest influence, an exhibit of Joan Miro’ at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. She was only around the age of ten but the exhibit began to fuel her passion for art.
Over the years, she has displayed locally at various locations such as the Women’s Art Registry of Minnesota Gallery, and the Minnesota State Fair Fine Arts Juried Competition. She also has been featured in New York State Museum in Albany, and the University of Reno Nevada Photography Department. Most recently, she has showcased in Minnesota in the 2010 ‘Foot in the Door” exhibition at the Minneapolis Institute of the Arts, and at North Hennepin Community College January 2011.
 In 2008, she became a Resident Artist at Altered Esthetics Gallery in N.E. Minneapolis. She has exhibited in eighteen group exhibitions. At Altered Esthetics, she was the 2009 Featured Artist Contest winner for ‘Creative Blood’ show, featured in the Altered Esthetics March calendar, and was the winner of an international juried show for best in category of mixed medium arts in the 2007 show ‘America’.  Recently she was  accepted into Altered Esthetics’ Solo Exhibition Program for the 2011 season. Her solo exhibition features her art Installation, ‘DEAD ASSETS‘in October 2011, hosted by Maude Salon, the Q.arma building, and Altered Esthetics Gallery to view her art, visit
