So this is how I view my art, and how I go about working…
I do what seems fun to me at the moment. I try to do things “outside the box” or outside what someone would view a necklace or pin as. I try to get new materials into the mix, for reasons of exposing people to that material and the fun of trying it.
I try to stay away from traditional work, I don’t really set stones or do rings like you would see at a normal jewelry store. I feel there is enough of that out there right now, and I really don’t want to add to it!
I also stay away from that because it’s more fun for me to design a piece of art, that someone can wear… that it’s more fun to try and solve process problems, or figure out ways of doing something!
So far my work has been received well, I’ve had many good showings, and I’m looking forward to sharing it with more audiences in the future!
I don’t bite, I’m not rude, and I welcome any comments or ideas for collaboration!
Right now I’m looking for a glass artist who would want to work with me to create unique objects that can be worn!
