Artist Statement

I am a dance maker, performer, and video artist living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Working with mundane objects and experiences, I abstract my source materials and transform them into reflections on being human. In doing so I hope to strengthen the connection between physical reality and intangible experience, draw attention to the multiple relationships people have with themselves, each other and their environment, and contribute to the aesthetic texture of my community.
