Sorry for all who have called about the 328 e 9th st. place. I was told the other day that this building is going to be bought by developers and turned into condos. It's a sad day.

Studio/Office space available April 1 in an awesome NE building that is one of the more popular arts buildings in Minneapolis. The space is 1600 square feet and will be shared by 4 people - myself(designer of print and web stuff) and 3 others to be determined - maybe you.

The Space: Wood floors, 10 ft. ceilings, large windows with view of downtown skyline. It will be built out with a dirty room(for screen printing and/or 3D related stuff), small kitchen space, meeting area with cool table couch and chairs, and a pretty open layout for work areas.

The Rent: $265/per person and that includes a lot(the space, free parking, all utilities, high-speed internet, all the shared space...). 1 year lease.

Scott,

I'd love to learn more about your space, if you're still looking for studio-mates.

I'm an accessory designer/maker looking specifically for a space where I can screen print.

Please drop me a note at sk@sarahkusa.com if it's still in play.

Many thanks,

Sarah

I have an amazing space that has just become available on the second floor of a corner 2-storey brick building in Northeast. The space has one large room with around 900 square feet of open space, new large windows, 2 skylights, hardwood floors, original woodwork etc. This would be great for a multiple artists or even a yoga studio. Connected to the open studio is a smaller space with new carpet and a more finished feel to it. This room also has a ton of natural light from large windows and a skylight. You will share men's and women's restrooms and kitchen facilities with 4 other very friendly tenants. This is a great area with the Modern Cafe just down the street and Frank Stonen and the Minnesota Center for Photography next door. The building is secure and there is a caretaker nearby. Call or email Ben at 612-327-4767 or ben@landergroup.com if you're interested in seeing the space or seeing photos. Landlord pays all bills so you know what you're going to pay.

There is a new studio opening in the Thorp Building, birthplace of Art-A-Whirl. The space is 780 square feet, renting around $625 per month, available starting April 1, 2006. The space is on the 2nd floor, with tall ceilings and a built-in small loft, excellent space for creative studio. The space also has old wood floors, two windows and an oversized door.

If you'd like to set up a showing or have any other questions email rachel_olson@sanderco.com, or please don't hesitate to call, Rachel Olson at 612.781.6565

There is another opening at the Central Business Center, connected to the Thorp Building. The space is 1640 square feet, renting around $956 per month, available starting March 1, 2006. The space has a built out small office (about 14'x14'), sink, heavy power, an oversized door, great dock access, and tall ceilings. Perfect for larger printing operation, woodworker, or other craftswork.

If you'd like to set up a showing or have any other questions email rachel_olson@sanderco.com, or please don't hesitate to call, Rachel Olson at 612.781.6565

I would like to find space to rent this summer June and July, possibly August too. Subleases are fine. I paint mostly, would weld too if the space allows. Could afford 300/month maximum, depending on the space.

I can be contacted at 612-386-2513 or email greggsalisbury@hotmail.com

Thanks much.
Gregg
