Did you get my question about developing a business plan to market my work?

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the blip in the forums. It looks like we are back online. Send me an email at colin.rusch@walkerart.org if you continue to have problems.

You bet, we have never posted past apps before. We can surely look into it.

Can't say for sure if we will be able to do it, but I can check with our IT folks. I hate to single out just a few to show off. I always feel better when folks have the entire roster of apps to look through.

Your budget should include all cost associated with the project. You should have enough income to cover all expenses. Your income can include anticipated income as well as any in kind or other grants that are either pending or confirmed

In regards to asking for a grant to create a business plan you have to make a case for why this is important for you at this time. Your worksamples should be of a high artistic value to be supported.

Amy, how have previous panels reviewed applications to create a business plan? Not sure I have ever heard a panel discuss that.

Janet,

Amy just posted her response again. I missed it the first time around as well.

I have talked to a few people about posting past appliations on our website. Some of the questions that have come up are will we post just successful applications? If not then will we get permission from applicants whose applications were not funded to be posted on our website?

Remember, that we use an open nomination process so if you want to serve or know someone that wants to serve you can down load a panel nomination form off our web site. We are always looking for folks to help.

We are working on getting the review panels together. Remember you can nominate yourself or some one you know to the panel. We are looking for people throughout the state who are comfortable taking about other people's work.
