I keep hearing more and more about blogs being one of the richest sources of cultural criticism. I am curious about blogs that people like and find interesting.

Follow the noise kids. Always entertaining. A lot of them have "Live Journals" to promote Mp3 albums and shows. Colon Pipe is the key.

I have two favorite livejournal friends - they post intermittantly but I *always read them because they are fascinating and entertaining:

I have two blogs that I have just started monitoring. They seem pretty interesting. One is written by Orval Lund, Winona poet and fine liberal thinker. His URL is: http://orvstuff.messagemonster.com/ Another one that I just discovered a day or so ago is by David Pollard and is called "How to Save the World." A lot of stuff on natural enterprise and business innovation, but some cultural commentary too. He also has oodles of links to other blogs. Visit it at http://blogs.salon.com/0002007/

I tryed to get a live Journal once so I could stop terrorizing every one over here, but some girl allready has "homelessartist". Oh well, maybe I'll become "GammaRay" some time.

maybe try "homeless_artist" or "_homeless_artist_" or some variation like that...
