Yeah, I was trying to make people more conscious of that, myself included because I don't know how I continue to survive, and even thrive at times for absolutly free. It's some mirical I therorize. Maybe if I make a record, I'll understand. And don't wory, I would not challenge anyone to spend less...

June 11 = $0

June 12 = $0 + a $5 gift certificate to Grandmas Restaurant for lunch

$6 for the exhibit at the mia. well worth it. thomas kinkade's claim as the "painter of light" is a joke after seeing some of these guys.

What exhibit was it?

I spent $70 on some pre-formed wood fencing I'll use for the walls of my art festival booth. Should look pretty good when I'm done but man, sculpture is expensive.

"crossing the channel: british and french painting in the age of romanticism." it proposes to show the relationship between the french and english schools of painting, and their influences on eachother, just after the defeat of napoleon and the end of decades of hostility between the two countries. it's quite interesting. the highlight is the reproduction of Géricault's "the raft of the medusa". it's incredibly huge and disturbing. a must see.

forgot an expense: $212 on shots for my dogs.

I spent $8 at the Nicollet Mall farmers market, got a bunch of food, and wound up feeding some to a homeless couple and brought another portion to the folks in the leasing office of my apt. bldg.

What kind of dogs do you have, Danny? I had a boxer, great dane mix growing up. It never saw the inside of a vet but for an outdoor, country dog it lived darn near to 15. Not too shabby.

AH that was cool of you Lauren. I ate today via walking thrum the Hotel bar in the IDS. They allways have a container full of spicy chex mix. This time they had berries too.
Then there was some big event at the Guthrie I casually walked in to, right past Joe Dowling and towards the complementary Brownies
Then my pizza Luci friend hooked me up a free slice.
And rounded it off with a Bowl of soup at Grandmas cuz I had a gift certificate.
No such thing as free lunch? I beg to differ.
