Does anyone know of any nice cheap live spaces for rent in NE Mpls? Unconventional spaces are fine, even prefered!
Thanks
Noelle

Am I missing something re:Artspace? I can't find any recent listings for them. I need an affordable live/workspace in Minneapolis-on a bus/trainline-this spring. Also, does anyone know of other similar services available? Thanks for any hints. Kim Matthews, kim@kimmatthewsart.com

Hi Jim, I'm very interested in the free rent for updating your space. Do you have any pictures or more information for me? Thanks, Rebecca lilmunchkin97@yahoo.com

My partner and I are looking for a Live/Work space to rent beginning May 2005. We are both sonic and visual artists - so any sort of alternative type space would be ideal: store front, warehouse, large attic, carriage house, etc.

We are willing to pay around $700.00 a month (together) but certainly can be convinced of a higher price if the space is stunning!

If you have any leads or have a space for rent please contact us: hypercreatives@hotmail.com

I am new to the board.

I am a producer of workshops for women and am looking for the type of chairs where participants can sit on the floor and have some support for their backs. I think the brand-name are called "back-jack" chairs?

I can't afford to buy a whole set, but would love to have 10-12 to rent for a workshop I am hosting from March 11-13.

If anyone has any ideas or has chairs to rent, please email me at frogprincess2296@yahoo.com

So Jim, what IS the deal with your building? What spaces are still left to be rented?

Ray, any word on this place?

Erik,
I think the building is sold. However the new owner would love to have the 2 smaller units rented soon.

I am an artist whom owns a commercial retail building, as of May 1st I will have a space for rent for one or several artists, if you would like to share your space with other artists. The upstairs is apx 800 sq. feet and would make a good gallery, the downstairs space is apx. 800 sq feet also, and could be used for production. I would occupy the other half of the building. If interested call 612-703-7778, the building is located on Bloomington Ave in South Minneapolis!
