Oh, and be aware (you may already know this) that Mercury goes retrograde in apparent motion today through the 21st or so. While this is a good time to formulate new ideas, go back and fix mistakes, and basically houseclean, nothing should be written in stone or signed away at this time. Trust me. That's my 2 cents.

I agree. Nothing in stone. If I may speak for you; this is what I believe would be good for you.

An equal share of the MM core body and first rights as founder of Northern Minnesota Cell.

I.E. If the profits on Core Body are $10,000.00 first year and we are on 5 members then you control/ own $2,000.00 of profits.

If profits on Northern are also $10,000.00 and there are 4 members then you pay a 20% to Core Body then you and the 4 members control / own $8,000.00 total and split as per agreement or $2,000.00 each.

Your total would be $4,000.00.
Sound right?

That sounds very fair and simple Jaime, thanks. Your art makes the species of businessman much more palatable.

mmmmm You guys are missing out on some REALLY goood soup right now. yum. I received the whole pot since no one else was there to share.
I listened and learned for a few hours, but it might have been a lifetime in Coyote years. So now we work.
I need the Intellectual property rights issue closed by the end of the week. It seems everyone who wants to be involved has had plenty of opportunity to speak for a claim on MM. So this is last call. A now or never hold your piece kind of deal.
If you feel you have been a part of the composing and initialization of this epic adventure, please say so by the end of the week.

Tasty soup! I'm tellin ya! Carrots, potatoes, celery, other stuff. mmmmmm.

"At Ray's Diner" (a screenplay)

So MM is in first gear. Can we have a newsletter or something informing us on what's happening? I'm still foggy on what official capacities have been assumed by whom, and in what form the Grand Plan exists. What is needed? What can I do?...That sort of thing.

I do not believe a "newsletter is in order. But a on line meeting of the "board" sounds like an idea.

As it looks like now MM is a joint venture of four people. Ray Rolfe., Jimmy Longoria, Dale Snyder and a fourth artist who has not yet answered the call. We are still waiting til Saturday at midnite for anyone who thinks they are part of this.

Next monday I will call us to order and propose the contract and form of our partnership. I think it would be cool if the whole business was don online with everyone watching us hold our meetings. What do you think?

A good soup

a drizzle of virgin olive oil in the maw
of a great pot, old with stories
two or three leaves of the bay tree
the slight green ones, with the wind in their
veins, watch them stiffen and brown and
pluck them before they burn

pull away the pot from the heat
and drop in the quartered onions
add the celery heads, bush and all
crack fresh pepper in and toss until
all are translucent like the mist veiled moon

and put it all into an old yardsale serving bowl with little flowers and chips that someone's grandmother left behind on this planet for you.

toss into the pot last night's guest serving you made just-in-case some one dropped in for dinner

add two quarts of water and boil
while you stretch the small canvases

with aunt Ruthie's favorite german knife cut up the potatoes, carrots and cabbage

catch the scum in the blue lacquer ladle and simmer with all of the ingredients until
the neighbor pops in his head to inquire about,...
and steal for the both of you a cup each of the soup still with crunchy carrots,"nother half hour I suppose".

Add the canned tomatoes and toss in fresh green onion and cilantro and life is good.

Gather the brave, the good hearted and serve with friendship.

HEY! look at this. I found the Minnesota Assembly of Mediocre Athletes. I'm not kidding and neither are they!
It's also a nice way to think about Minnesota mediocre.
Check it out.

MAMA Charter
The MAMA (Minnesota Assembly of Mediocre Athletes) Hall of Fame was founded on February 29, 1992 to serve as a shrine for those athletes who have entertained Minnesotans with their failures as much as their triumphs. It is a tribute to mediocrity, the fiber of our nation which to this point has not been celebrated nor given its due respect. Although those who excel in sports are often praised, admired, and honored by our society, it is the mediocre athlete who contributes the tension and drama to the game, leaving fans in doubt as to whether they will succeed or fail.
Teams can always count on their superstars, but if a mediocre player comes through it often makes the difference between winning and losing. When a superstar does something notable, it is usually associated with failure, wheras when a role-player does something notable, it typically is a memorable success. It is the intention of MAMA to pay tribute to those athletes who have given us years of stomach-aches and frustrations, but also unexpected elation and great conversations the morning after.

Finally, a point to remember. While if there were no superstars there would still be mediocre athletes, without the mediocre athlete there would never be any superstars.
