All right, so my curiosity has gotten the better of me and I must speak up.

What seems to be the trouble with this space? It seems gorgeous, I dont understand why you would have any trouble renting at least (although I admit the sale price as a whole is a bit much for most of us)

You just seem to be pushing this property so hard. How did you come into posession of it, being half way across the country? How long has it been empty?

I really dont feeling like calling, especially where as I know you check the forums regularly, so how about a little more information?

Yeah, it looks to be a stunning property. If I was santa clause I would buy it at your asking price and then sell it for 3/4 million in a few years, then move to the Pillsbury elevator estates. Erik has a good idea, more information. Just a tad bit more word of mouth like were doing now and who knows.... is your hit counter going up quite a bit in the past few days? (heres the link to the "Dream Mansion" as I like to call it = http://WWW.XANGA.COM/JIMOAKES )

I love the winding staircase. It's a top notch producers pad.
Do you have more images of the top floor so prospective buyers can fall in love with the place and get into bidding wars driving the price up to around $640,000??
If you do, you can post them with your messages by clicking "attach files" before posting.

I assure you that by now your most increadable dream house is being seen from coast to coast. There are some New Yorkers who like to visit mnartists.org
I tell ya, if I was one of the wealthy folks who can do or move just about anywhere, after hearing about the outstanding quality of life we enjoy in the twin cities, I would have your property at the top of my list.

More pictures, more info Jim.

ERICK,NOT EMPTY ,ONLY PENTHOUSE AND A LIVE/WORK SPACE WILL BE AVAILABLE SOON. MY HOME AND CUSTOM FURNITURE SHOWROOM WERE ON MAIN FLOOR FROM 1977 TO 1989.THE LIVE/WORK SPACE IS ACTUALLY MY WOOD SHOP AND INDUSTRIAL QUALITY MACHINES ARE INCLUDED IN RENT. IT HAS AN OFFICE WITH A KITCHEN,2- BATHS AND A MURPHY(folding)BED. THE REASON IT SEEMS LIKE I AM PUSHING IT HERE IS TO GET THE WORD OUT TO CREATIVE PEOPLE.
SINCE 1977 CREATIVE, ARTISTIC AND MAYBE A BIT ECCENTRIC PEOPLE(LIKE ME) HAVE LOVED MY BUILDING,A FEW WANTED TO BUY IT,NEVER WANTED TO SELL TILL NOW.I HAVE ANOTHER MANSION IN OREGON THAT NEEDS ME.

FROM A BUSINESS STANDPOINT IT WAS THE BEST THING I EVER DID, BUYING THAT BUILDING IN 1977.

I WAS MAKING GOOD MONEY FROM WORK AND NEEDED A SHOP. MY TAX MAN TOLD ME TO BY THE BUILDING.I DID NOT WANT TENANTS AND RESPONSIBILTY! BUT IT WORKED GREAT .AFTER A YEAR OR SO I WAS MAKING AS MUCH FROM RENT AS MY WOODWORK AND ACTUALLY HAVING FUN MAKING COOL LOFT STYLE UNITS AND MEETING MY NEW RENTERS, MANY WHO BECAME LIFE LONG FRIENDS.
HOPE I DIDN'T BORE YOU.YOU WANTED INFORMATION.THANKS FOR THE QUESTIONS

Hehe, yes! Very cool Jim. I got your message on the voice mail but I still can't call long distance from here. I like yr 1 finger-pacific northwest style man.

Hey heres an idea! People are slow to cut and past your site address so I'll fix your link.

http://www.xanga.com/jimoakes

See, if ya put that fancy hyper text transfer protocall handel on the front there, the matrix will know it's a site link and home shopers can just click and go.
Continued good luck.

Hello there!!!!
We are looking for a large live in studio or large duplex (2 or 3 bedroom). We have a cat and a dog. We are moving july first and would like to be in the minneapolis area. We can pay up to 900.00 a month. I need an area to set up my sewing machine and my fiance needs a seperate place to do computer work. We are currently sharing a room and it is to crowded. Any ideas? We are not looking to buy a place. We would like a loft if possible but now that every place is selling lofts that seems to make finding a rental harder. Oh and we are quiet folks and have great references. Thank you!!!!!ann and greg
