This collection of carefully selected work guarantees to stimulate everyone’s artistic appreciation, turning the passive viewer into an active admirer. The show was curated by Twin City artists, Sheila O’Malley, who works in Lowertown, St. Paul, and Lisa Colwell, a resident at the Traffic Zone Center for the Arts. These curators have put together a representation of nature as it is seen, portrayed and interpreted by the diverse artistic talents of the Rain Collective. Packed with substance and style, this show encompasses a variety of art forms: painting, mixed media, photography, and installation art.

The Rain Collective is a 16-member confluence of artists who came together with the unified interest in stretching their artistic vistas and enriching their professional growth. The collective is committed to supporting and challenging its members to create the highest quality of work in each of their individual art forms. The result is diverse in voice, visually powerful, and intellectually charged.

Today, the majority of the Rain artists have their studios at the Casket Arts Building in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District, where they work as a community of professional artists.
