The Hopkins Center for the Arts is proud to announce the 2011 Members’ Juried Exhibition.
 
Artist members of the Friends of the Hopkins Center for the Arts will be submitting works on Sunday, September 11 and Monday, September 12  to be juried by this year’s panel. This exhibition highlights local and regional artists in a competitive show. Participants range from established, full-time artists to emerging artists who may not have exhibited before.  They are all members of the Artist membership program which offers exhibition opportunities throughout the year as well as networking and educational events.
 
 The jurors for 2011 are:
·         Charles Lyon, painter/photographer
·         Alonso Sierralta, sculptor; member of the art faculty at Concordia University, St Paul
·         Jeanny Wheatley, Galleries Coordinator, Augsburg University
 
 
The opening reception will be held Saturday, September 17 from 6-8 pm.  Awards will be announced at 7 pm.
 
The exhibition is free and open to the public:
Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 8:00 pm
Saturday 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
Sunday 12:00-5:00 pm
