Theatre of Imagination led by Robert Rosen
Theatre of Imagination, inspired by the teachings of Jacques Lecoq, offers intensive training in the creation of theatre that is born from action. Exercises focus on physical dynamics and techniques to help performers create work that is at once playful, emotional and inventive. Themes will include the observation and transposition of daily life, improvisation, the structures of play and the life of objects. Physical preparation will include dramatic acrobatics, balancing and juggling.

Voice and the Physical Actor led by Barbra Berlovitz
Work on total physical engagement with the voice and body. A dynamic, present body speaks text and the audience wants to
listen. Develop an awareness of your habits and learn to speak text on the breath of the character. Discover an uncluttered yet highly crafted approach to speaking on the stage, strengthen breath and vocal muscles and expand your vocal possibilities. Learn to free the true power of your voice with all of its passion and humanity. Work through the fear of speaking and develop a flexible and free voice. Some memorization is required.

RAW Mechanics led by Shawn McConneloug
The body is your tool of learning...the more you understand it, the greater your ability to explore and articulate its landscape. By heightening kinesthetic awareness (the body's ability to know where it is in space) we allow ourselves to move with more clarity, control ...and abandon. RAW Mechanics builds awareness by integrating elements of experiential anatomy with Viewpoints vocabulary. Through distinctly designed exercises in sensation and perception and rigorous ensemble improvisation, RAW Mechanics cultivates articulation and flexibility for performing artists while deepening presence and imagination.

DEVISE led by Rosen, Berlovitz and McConneloug
Building on skills acquired, the latter part of each day will be spent generating original work based on suggested themes and texts.
