The Soap Factory presents a five-week
exhibition of architecture, performances, science, art, videos, sculpture, readings and karaoke. The Art Shanty Projects are part art gallery, part residency and part social experiment, inspired by the tradition of ice fishing and ice fishing houses used in the Minnesota winter. This activity is made possible, in part, by funds provided by the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council from an appropriation by the Minnesota Legislature. Additional support from the McKnight Foundation.
Opening January 13th, 2007 on Medicine Lake in Plymouth, MN
