The mission of the Park Rapids Lakes Area Arts Council (PRLAAC) is: TO PROMOTE EXCELLENCE IN THE ARTS THROUGH CREATION, EDUCATION AND PERFORMANCE.
Every year, in April, the Park Rapids arts council sponsors the Red Bridge Film Festival.
In September, an open studio tour to culturally rich destinations, "Art Leap".
A "Youth Music and Arts Showcase" was featured in 2009 and included visual arts and musical performances in downtown Park Rapids.
PRLAAC seeks to help get exposure for regional creative entities, and coordinate scheduling of special performances in the Park Rapids lakes area.
