Dandyland was created by a young man named Christopher who used his royalties from certain childhood adventures with woodland animals to create a respite for effeminate men with indulgent tastes in clothing. Every season a newsletter is published, sharing the progress of Dandyland and the personal stories of it's inhabitants.

a public arts collaboration by Regula Russelle and CB Sherlock, 2008 poems by Meghan Maloney-Vinz, Jim Moore, Ilze Klavina Mueller, William Stafford, and Joyce Sutphen During three weeks this fall, CB and I dispersed about 4,500 hand-printed folios at farmers' markets, light rail and bus stops, the Dorothy Day Center, and other urban locations in the Twin Cities. Our aim: to share something beautiful for free. The prints contain poems and imagery on kinship circle, improvisation, a sense of "we." We later created large and small companion books that contain portraits and poems of our project. One of the small books is pictured here. CB and I gratefully acknowledge the Jerome Foundation for helping to support this project.

"Me No Like"

"Me No Like" is a series of illustrations in which Cavemen-monkey-monster-creatures attack revered high capitalist machinery and institutions using primative weaponry: large rocks, spears, clubs, etc. This is the cover of the book. I made 500 of these mamma-jammas. The cover is neatly letter-pressed and each book is held together with two metal screw fasteners.
