Minnesota Center for Photography (MCP) is canceling tonight's lecture -5 Artistic Lives -featuring five artists from five mediums. This was originally scheduled for this evening, Thursday March 1, at 7 p.m.The event will be rescheduled for a later date. Please check www.mncp.org for further information.


Five Artistic Lives: a panel of Minnesota women in the arts mnartists.org is highlighting an eclectic array of phenomenal work being done by a few of Minnesota's talented female artists: Printmaker Carolyn Swizcsz, ceramicist Kelly Connole, photographer Dona Schwartz, and book-maker Wendy Fernstrum. Listen in as these women, along with textile artist Jean Matzke, candidly discuss their lives as artists and as contemporary women In a panel discussion moderated by multimedia artist Jan Estep and sponsored by the Minnesota Center for Photography, The Highpoint Center for Printmaking, The Textile Center of Minnesota, Minnesota Center for Book Arts, and the Northern Clay Center.
