My version of Les Blacklocks' log in the woods from his Book entitled "Meet my Psychiatrist". It is actually a park bench overlooking the Grand Marais Harbor. It was completely covered by ice in 1996.
June on the North Shore brings Grandma's Marathon and parties for the racers. Ended up at one on Brighton Beach in time to catch sunrise.
A friend with a boat took me out on the lake and we drove near the old cement pier near the ship canal. I asked that he hold the boat so I could photograph the lighthouse at the end of the pier through the window.
