We'll explore landscape painting by working with multiple subjects. Each student will be encouraged to work to their highest level while retaining their individual artistic signature. Various techniques will be explored and group critiques will encourage exponential learning. Experienced painters: please bring examples of your previous work to the first night's class. 6:30 - 9:00 PM

Liquid Watercolor

(Intermediate to Experienced) In this class, we will specifically work with liquid watercolor as opposed to pan or tube solids. This class will definitely help you work "outside the box" with watercolor and loosen up your painting. This medium lends itself well to abstract and representational painting. Painters from all genres and mediums are welcome. Some prior painting experience required. Beginning Watercolor Landscape

Beginning Watercolor Landscape Session A and B Weds 6:30 - 9p

This class will teach students basic watercolor painting skills for creating skies, trees, water, rocks and mountains. Students will learn how to separate visual elements in a landscape to show depth and better represent foreground, mid-ground and background imagery. The focus of this class is to help beginning students become comfortable with watercolor as a medium and teach them skills that can be a basis for more advanced techniques in future study.
