      <title>Healing Hands: for Lake Superior College</title>

      <description>&lt;a href="http://www.mnartists.org/work.do?rid=321680"&gt;&lt;img src="http://www.mnartists.org/uploads/users/user_2652/71517053e7b170afa220e8e900c0f205/71517053e7b170afa220e8e900c0f205_scale_42_80.jpg" height="80" width="42" border="1" alt="Healing Hands: for Lake Superior College" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Healing Hands is a commission for the Health Sciences building at Lake Superior College, home to professional training for therapists, nurses, and other health professionals. The hands signify the transmission of healing through caring touch, and also the transmission of knowledge from teacher to student.       <title>Iron Deer in a Steel Forest</title>

The tree trunks are stainless steel expanded metal; the foliage is mild steel, plasma cut and painted with catalyzed paint.
