[b]Mike Haeg[/b], better known as [url=http://zinewiki.com/Mr._Mike]Mr. Mike[/url], is a cartoonist, prankster, and graphic designer based in Minneapolis, MN and Olympia, WA. Throughout the 1990's, Haeg published zines and [url=http://zinewiki.com/Minicomic]mini-comics[/url], including: [url=http://zinewiki.com/Rump]Rump[/url], [url=http://zinewiki.com/zinewiki/index.php?title=Sauce&action=edit&redlink=1]Sauce[/url], [url=http://zinewiki.com/zinewiki/index.php?title=Ye_Olde_Stinkhammer_Press&action=edit&redlink=1]Ye Olde Stinkhammer Press[/url], [url=http://zinewiki.com/zinewiki/index.php?title=Popular_Time_Bomb&action=edit&redlink=1]Popular Time Bomb[/url], [url=http://zinewiki.com/zinewiki/index.php?title=Dusty_the_Crustie&action=edit&redlink=1]Dusty the Crustie[/url], and [url=http://zinewiki.com/zinewiki/index.php?title=The_Bulkhead&action=edit&redlink=1]The Bulkhead[/url]. His artwork has also appeared in [url=http://zinewiki.com/zinewiki/index.php?title=Cake_Magazine&action=edit&redlink=1]Cake Magazine[/url], on records and CDs (e.g., The Jawbreaker / Crimpshrine split 7"), and in the book [i]Route 666: On the Road to Nirvana[/i] by Gina Arnold (who reprinted one of Mr. Mike's concert flyers without his permission). In 1991, Mike Haeg's cartoons were featured in the [i]Misfit Lit[/i] exhibition at Artifex Alternative Arts, together with comics by Julie Doucet ([i]Dirty Plotte[/i]), Los Bros. Hernandez ([i]Love and Rockets[/i]), and Dan Clowes ([i]Eightball[/i]). Haeg has collaborated with other underground cartoonists, including [url=http://zinewiki.com/John_Porcellino]John Porcellino[/url] from [url=http://zinewiki.com/King-Cat_Comics_and_Stories]King-Cat Comics and Stories[/url], and [url=http://zinewiki.com/Zak_Sally]Zak Sally[/url], creator of [url=http://zinewiki.com/zinewiki/index.php?title=The_Recidivist&action=edit&redlink=1]The Recidivist[/url] and [url=http://zinewiki.com/zinewiki/index.php?title=Sammy_the_Mouse&action=edit&redlink=1]Sammy the Mouse[/url]. Mike Haeg is currently the Mayor of Mount Holly, MN, a city-within-a-city, with four legal residents.
