In live performanceI used a large 2' gong, a huge 4' thunder sheet, bass guitar, a tunable floor tom, a custom dulcimer, an Akai S5000 sampler with a M-Audio controler, and lots of effects processing

Audio recordings of longer length and higher fidelity are on www.theeclecticensemble.com Music Of The Sun (MOTS) is a solar and bicycle powered outdoor improvisational ambient music series directed toward metro area park and trail system users. Twice a month from May 2011 to Sept. 2011 The Eclectic Ensemble will load a full-range PA system and instruments into custom-built bicycle trailers and pedal to the metro area parks and bike trails to perform free to the public. Performances happen at any time during daylight hours, last 45 to 90 minuets, and occur on any day of the week. The concept behind MOTS is to be a spontaneous, flexible, and accessible outlet for The Eclectic Ensemble that brings us to new audiences in an ideal setting for our music.Our music combines bass guitar, electric guitar, programmed synth, Violin, a custom dulcimer, various bells and chimes, hand drums, and field recordings (market places, parties, ocean surf, etc.) into a surreal instrumental sound scape that tantalizes the listener’s imagination.

A play by Sand Box Theater peformed Nov. 2008. The music for this show was chosen as, best origional music 2008, by John townsed's theater year in review. Lavender, 2008 For this show, I imported the music to my sampler as multi-track sessions. This enabled me to do a live mix and interact with the acting ensemble. Another aspect of the live mix was that I set up 5 separate speaker locations and used them to give the sound physical depth and spacific location. The orange scene was one of my favorites. There was alot of movement and dynamics for me to play off of.

Audio recordings of longer length and higher fidelity are on www.theeclecticensemble.com An alternate history, War With The Newts takes place before World War II, when a species of large, intelligent salamanders is discovered near Sumatra. These naturally harmless creatures are manipulated for human gain, eventually using the talents we taught them to overthrow their masters. Darkly absurd and topical, the story touches on very relevant issues of war, terrorism, corporate greed and xenophobia. This piece is created by a deeply talented ensemble, led by Sandbox company founders Ryan Hill, Heather Stone and Lisa Moreira. An original score has been created by local ambient music composer Tim Donahue. The sound file has been summed to mono and the sample rate has been reduced to minimize file size.
