It is an illustration of my confused state of mind after my Grandfather's passing. It is a race through my memories and my own way of coping with the fact, and most of all - it is saying "goodbye" to my childhood in Russia, which my Grandpa embodied. It is my fear of coming back home this winter and not finding him there. But maybe, maybe he is not gone. Maybe he is still there behind his wooden desk, editing another book, and laughing with Grandma. Maybe he will be there, when I race through the ocean, and land, and streets to reach his house. He will be there, and I'll hug him. And once again I'll feel like a child.[b] "Maybe" won Best Experimental Short Film Award at the 2008 Riverside Saginaw Film Festival in Saginaw, WI.
