In a move to creating a more wearable bustier, I reverse molded the piece and put the smooth/finished leather on the inside of the bustier. I then affixed the painted french terry to the exterior via contact cement & stitching. A three snap closure hold the piece together in the front, and adjustable elastic in the back.
Painted Bag # 01

Begun as a complement to another I made for a dear friend, originally it was unpainted, but became so, as friends pointed out that to not paint it was to not be true to my current sense of self expression. Created by folding the leather towards itself, and stitched. A durable bottom was added, and all hole/weak spots were reinforced. The shoulder straps are adjustable, and the top of the bag closes via a drawstring beneath the flap.It now happily resides someplace in Montana.
