In this oil painting I used the central part of H. Bosch's Ship of Fools to make a contemporary statment. Each detail was executed in the way it could lead to different explanation, but all together supporting the main idea of the human foolishness being repeated over and over again...
This is one of my favourite paintings. Many my friends liked it too. However, despite a few attempts to promote it through juried exhibition it never made it. Finally, I decided to show the painting in the Zumbrota's Covered Bridge Show in May 2009.
