This is an early watercolor that I did soon after moving to Minnesota from New York. The old barn and silo were a part of the farm that we lived on in Maple Farm. Though both of them had seen better days, they certainly helped to provide a welcome rustic feel to my new home, far away from the crowded buildings and bustle of city life that I had grown up in.
