Statement

This piece is construced from sculpted porcelain plates and fired stains. It was part of a series initially created for an auction in 2006 held at the Regis Center for the Arts to benefit survivors of Hurricane Katrina located in Bay St. Louis. It was based on photographs taken by Kevin Hedden and used with permission. (See www.wecandoittogether.org)
