Poster of the event. My theme this year is a sexy and elegant Masquerade. All costumes and masks are one of a kind.
This is a very whimsical costume opening my DIFFA 2003 fashion show. I called it La Veneziana, the Venetian but I have nicknamed it The Lady Bug dress for its shape, which reminds of the body of a ladybug. Photo by Tom Corcoran
Sexy! This diagonally cut dress has a see-through waistline; top & skirt are in black satin decorated with black sequins, while the lower part of the skirt is made of the same see-through fabric used in waist area. Photo by Tom Corcoran.
Short, fitted black dress with pink swirl & golden diagonally sewn stripes. A black satin overskirt with metal boning frame, decorated with bright application sewn by hand adorn it. Photo of it not available. Photo by Dan Marshall Photography.
Close up view of bodice. Hand-sewn sequins & beads covered all the colored areas. Photo by: Dan Marshall Photography
Countless sequins and beads were hand sewn on top of designs. Note the diagonal shoulder strap over the left shoulder ending under the right shoulder blade in one of the appliqués. Photos by Dan Marshall & Tom Corcoran.
This dress top layer is made of hand-beaded lace on lining. The lace at the hem overlaps over the black chiffon skirt that is trimmed with a strip of the same hand-beaded lace. Photo by Tom Corcoran

Gown, mask & headpiece by Maria Campo. The head piece is a metal frame covered by the same lace used for the dress and silver beads decorate the curled metal extensions; the veil is in black chiffon. Photos by: Dan Marshal Photography
This dress is made of purple and black crepe and has multicolored sequins & beads on the top of the bodice as well as on the hemline. Photo by Tom Corcoran
This mask as all the other but two, is an original design of mine and it was hand made with the rest of them by a team of artists, which included Shelly Koland a talented iron designer, Jo, her business partner, Bee-be, & myself
This beautiful dress is the result of a sheer translucent silvery organzaon top of a mauve lining, while the "pinching" of the material gives movement to the skirt and the rhinestones shoulder straps match the ones in the skirt. Photo by Sophia Hantzes

Both the mask and headpiece to compliment this fantasy costume are by Bee-be while the silver shoulder breast-mask is mine. In back, the hair forms 3 tentacles holding it over one shoulder and running down the models back. Photo by Tom Corcoran

In this B&W photo, you can better see the purse designed by Bee-be, 10 years old to accompany my dress.
