1001 is a river of stories, hyperlinking tales from One Thousand and One Nights to contemporary New York City, bouncing from Persia to Gaza and beyond. It is a love story of old world Arabian markets and palaces, interwoven with modern politics of romance, culture, electronic courtship, and emotional deception.
