Statement

"I create my art work from something quite ordinary. It is that first bold gesture of the hand, a commitment, that is so frightening. I begin, taking risks, keeping the mind and eyes open. The rest of the process just flows, like breathing. It's magic! The content shapes the form of what I make. The degree of lightness prompts the clarity. The combination of fiber effects produces meaning and communication. The forms grow out of their own context."
