Statement

This work was shown a number of times in 2008, under the name "INTERMISSION" (at the Bryant Lake Bowl in January), "BRYANT LAKE BOWL INTERMISSSION" (at Exercise Exorcise Series in February and March) and "BRYANT LAKE BOWL INTERMISSION #3" (at Catch Series, Starr Street Projects Brooklyn, during Spring Movement Research Festival May 2008) and also was seen at Artery 24 (Soap Factory July) in its full length incarnation “THE HISTORIC NEW YORK ARTISTS LOFTS AND RESIDENCIES + HOTEL!” The project was originally conceived as a part of the first Flaneur Productions "Derive" event, held April 2007 at the Casket Arts Building in Minneapolis, but was not performed due to "injuries sustained while doing the hustle."

Work conceived, created, and performed by Elliott Durko Lynch.

Additional Credits:

"Bryant Lake Bowl Intermission" included additional performance by Sara Shaylie and Jeremey Catterton .

"Bryant Lake Bowl Intermission #3" included additional performance by Kristin Van Loon

Some Notes on THNYALAR+H!

It contained certain pieces of information that may or may not pertain to Minneapolis or New York City, undesirable spaces, desirable Real Estate, Elliott or his family, and will contain words, movement, lies, media and actions including “tutoring or coaching, rapid-fire drawing and sculpting, a magic-lantern show presentation, photography and film projection, declamation, singing, stage directing, choreographing, dancing and, . . . Snacking” -(www.jameswagner.com). It is likely to be a “conventional” (non-experimental) performance work.
