its an allegorical piece about being feeling trapped and ultimately being saved

creepy goodness
the lyrics clearly come from a deep dark origin, almost seething with distortion, writhing around in the eerie effects. it's likable in its darkness, very catchy in a non-pop kind of way. the experimentation of the climbing and falling with the reedy-organ sound is great, the other sounds as well, they all lend to complete over-all creepy orchestration. the production is good, the arrangement is well-mixed. the vocals almost crawl under your skin, relating the lyrics very decisively, very coldly, very soothing in a sinister kind of way. intriguing.
