Statement

Composer-performer Carei Thomas was featured in a series of improvised music concerts organized by Andrew Lafkas throughout the summer of 2003, on the final Tuesdays of May (27th), June (24th) and July (29th) beginning at 7 p.m.
Suggested donations are $5.

Tuesday, May 27th:
Set 1 - a duet of jesse petersen-electric guitar and davu seru-soprano saxophone

Set 2 - a quartet of nathan philips-trumpet,
tim glenn-guitar, bryce beverlin ii-percussion, andrew lafkas-cello.

Tuesday June 24th:
Set 1 - andrew lafkas-solo bass

Set 2 - a duet of milo fine-clarinets, davu seru-percussion.

Tuesday, July 29:
Set 1 - a trio of david means-electric guitar, midi wind controller and MIDI performance system, steve goldstein-laptop computer sampling, carei thomas-voice and synthesizer (with video wall)

Set 2 - a quartet of charles gillet-electric guitar, george cartwright-saxophones, andrew lafkas-bass, and jt bates-percussion.
