This piece was part of my Jerome Fellowship Grant artists' show in 2004.
One of several light box pieces I created for the show, I used found charts, graphs and handwritten notes, upon which I then drew, collaged together and placed over discarded X-ray viewers.
The pieces attempt to reconcile the wonder of scientific discovery with its inevitable build-up of tedious, and eventually obsolete, information and methodology.
