Death by Timber is the beginning of my tree collage series. It's a bit of a metaphysical joke,instead playing the chicken asking around for its mother, the chicken would go around picking fights with different kinds of trees. Tempting fate and the strength of his/her personal mortality,or the strength of nature....

I'm thinking here of the Cowardly Lion, "I'll fight ya with one hand behind my back.." That kind of thing.
