This exhibition takes inspiration from its setting—a book bindery. For book artists, a bindery is a studio space dedicated to collating loose pieces into a whole. The works in this group show examine sequence—from mathematical series, to evolutionary lineages, to consequential events that delineate before from after. Featured artists employ a diversity of art forms to investigate permutations, sequentiality, and the aesthetics of orderedness.
