A peaceful colorful creek located very near a small city. Who would know it was there with all the dense underbrush?
The stones gleam with shades of all colors. Reflected sky colors top the river ripples and meander down the stream.

While our car was being repaired in the Black Hills of SD, we found this creek running nearby to enjoy some respite from traveling. Trout fishermen were practicing their craft of skill but not placed where I needed them to stand.
I included a personal design note to this painting by adding elements to the scene to include a figure.
