The sculptural components of this work present a visual counterpart to the language of science. Suggesting the laws of motion, five large spherical forms orbit above the plaza area, adjacent the front entry to Trafton Science Center. Scientific formulas, provided by the college faculty, are inscribed into the gear/wheel's slate surface, with more complex formulas stamped into the concrete plaza
