Cynthia was a well known figure model in the Twin Cities from 1977 until her death on April 20th 2010.

Every figure drawing I do is a reflection of Cynthia's patience, encouragement and genius. Like Camille Claudel or Susan Valadon she elevated the role or art model until it transcended the role of the artist. I feel humbled to have been between the paper and this goddess of gesture.
