Statement

This project took 4 days/30 hours (including pre-sketches, research ect) and measures 12x8' and was one of my first murals. It was great fun because I was able to use the background paint as an aspect of the piece by creating the tree from negative space, (left unpainted). It really tied the rest of the room into the mural creating a nice flow and ambiance in the room. The customer had wanted a kid's adjusting corner that fit with the zebra adjusting table he had custom ordered, and so we created a savannah drinking hole that the zebra could join. It was fun to make a piece that joined up with a 3D element really making the mural jump into the room. : ). He loves it and receives a lot of postive feedback from his customers, which is always nice.
