Statement

This painting was based on an experience I had holding a live hummingbird. So incredible and light, it was like holding a piece of paper in my hands with a beating heart!


I am raffling this painting as a fund raiser for my friend, Elizabeth, who had all of her tools stolen. She is a carpenter, so her livelihood depends on her tools.
