Statement

A monoprint I made from found objects placed on a piece of matte board and covered with polyurathane. After pulling several prints of different colors I set them aside to dry. A few weeks later I saw this one and started to draw on it with acrylic paint and a small brush. This continued over several weeks where I would pick it up and draw more. As the image progressed I noticed how different faces and sets of eyes emerged....if only in my own mind.
