Crossing to the Other Side

Three deer crossing an opening in a dark woods in search of food while the wolf in the woods is also looking for food. The crow sitting on the branch is watching the entire scene unfold. Yet beyond the forest is the brightness such as at the end of a tunnel.
It is up to the viewer to decide how this story ends. This could be viewed as a symbolic portrait of the uncertainties of life, or a simple picture of the happenings in a forest.
