The center piece is a shell. I bead concentric circles around the center piece in a counter clock wise and clockwise direction simultaneously. The materials used are glass beads, thread, paper, and a shell. The beadwork is 4 1/16" in diameter stitched onto a 9" x 9" substrate. It is professionally framed and matted in a black wood frame 12 1/4"w x 15"h.

The unique color and natural formation of the shell is complimented by the colors of the glass beads.
