The center piece is a shell. I bead concentric circles around the center piece in a counter clock wise and clockwise direction simultaneously. The materials used are glass beads, thread, paper, and a shell. The beadwork is 3 9/16" in diameter stitched onto a 9" x 9" substrate. It is professionally framed and matted in a black wood frame 12 1/4"w x 15"h.

The natural spiral design is the symbol of the Underwater Panther. When the Underwater Panther swims under water its long tail causes the water to swirl on the surface of the water.
